'The Heart of the Village'- Part 2 of 3 singing workshops with Trish Watts & Mary Diggins. Be cradled by love, with lullabies & laments as comforting bookends for our human experience. All welcome!

Trish & Mary are singers, educators & longtime friends who will share the gift, power & lineage of lullaby & lament in our human experience.

Our lives are built on the movement and lilt of 'rocking'. At the beginning and end of life we are cradled in song. The lullaby beckons us back to the hearth of our existence and the lament expresses the cries of our soul.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore their own story. We will learn to sing together a selection of lullabies and laments from various traditions including Celtic, African American and Indigenous Australian & Islander & Sacred Chant.

We have completed Part 1: A Tear & a Smile in the Eye

This workshop is Part 2: The Heart of the Village

Next workshop is Part 3: Singing through the Rivers of Change
