Embodied Grief: Death Stories & Flow Yoga > Be Moved
Our experiences around death are some of the most significant of our lives and yet we rarely share these stories with others or give much thought to how we'd like our own deaths to go.
Sharing our experiences with dying gives us the opportunity to explore these feelings, re-processing our grief so that we can begin to understand how it has expanded our hearts, and also leaning into the idea that we all will die and we have the ability to plan for a gentle and loving experience for ourselves and our loved ones.
In this 3-hour workshop we’ll use the practice of yoga, guided meditation, partner work, music, journaling and open discussion, to help us get centered and grounded so we can share our death experiences in a safe and meaningful way.
We'll also practice thinking about what will matter most to us when we ourselves die. We’ll focus on feeling, listening, being curious and accepting things how they are. The workshop will conclude with a healing sound bath. Yoga beginners welcome!
