As we grieve a loss, we oftentimes forget to take care of our basic self needs. In this workshop, you’ll learn holistic ways to support your WHOLE body, and take a 30-minute restorative yoga class.

As we grieve a loss – whether that’s the death of a loved one, pet, divorce, relationship, job loss, or big move – we oftentimes forget to take care of our basic self needs.

The heavy stress of grief places a severe physical burden on our adrenals, liver, and hormones, but even more so, it really takes a toll on our gut-brain axis, impairing mood, digestion, and overall well-being.

Stephanie Papadakis, holistic nutrition consultant and certified grief recovery specialist® with Gut of Integrity, will discuss holistic ways to support your body during this time – including food, supplements, herbs, and lifestyle options – as well as quick and easy recipes to make in under 15 minutes that won’t add to your stress.

There will be an included 30-minute restorative yoga session by Summer Lee, holistic nutrition consultant and RYT-200 of Everyday Solstice, who’ll teach poses you can practice at home as a helpful and supportive tool for managing grief. Bring a yoga mat with you.
