Join University of San Francisco’s intergenerational dance company, Dance Generators, for a guided movement and discussion workshop on mortality and loss.

Liv Schaffer, (Director, Dance Generators) will lead participants through movement activities and discussions reflecting on mortality. Participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and expect to go back and forth between doing, discussing, and noticing how an embodied experience of mortality illuminates its realities in a new way.

This intergenerational workshop will be open to the public of all ages, adults from Bethany Center Senior Housing and company members of the Dance Generators.

Ruth's Table is committed to increasing access to creative opportunities for older adults and adults with disabilities, providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for creative expression and cross-generational dialogue.

Dance Generators is an intergenerational dance company housed at USF. Consisting of students & Bay Area adults, dancers come together through a shared commitment to innovative movement practices and reclaims dance as an art form for diverse bodies.
