Come experience the symbols of ritual and celebration around death in our Ritual Room, presenting rituals from different cultures and people in art, video, photographs, and speeches.
What are the rituals and celebrations that exist around death and the end of life across cultures? We invite you to help us create and experience a Ritual Room—a space to come experience interpretations of death by different cultures and people. Think of the Day of the Dead celebrations, or the secular temple at Burning Man, or the Tibetan book of the dead.
These rituals can be a way to celebrate, or a way to grieve, or include symbols of life and death. The room will include speakers, video screenings, photographs, altars, and other items.
