We Don't Die, We Multiply

Hosted by Jay Katelansky

We Don't Die, We Multiply
Using the tools of collage and storytelling, participants will create their own utopian worlds where their communities, their loved ones, and those they’ve lost are able to live out their full lives.

“We Don’t Die, We Multiply” is a collage workshop that reimagines our world as a place in which all people in all communities live full and long lives.

In our world, there are many populations that aren’t afforded the guarantee of long life, as theirs are often cut short by systematic racism, oppression, and violence. Using the tools of collage and storytelling, participants will be able to create their own utopian worlds where their communities, their loved ones, and those they’ve lost are able to live out their full lives. This exercise will make space for processing grief through joy; a celebration of life.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own images (photos, magazines, printed images), but basic materials and graphics will be provided by the host.

The event is free, but donations are greatly appreciated!
