A death plan is the grout that holds all the tiles of legal paperwork, together, and with all your wishes.Death plans hold important information and can be attached with all your legal end of life documents. Lashanna will walk you through 8 pre-death topics and 7 post death topics that will provide help you and those caring for you, navigate your dying and death. We cover a wide range of topics in the two hours that range from desired location of death, to the type of interventions permitted, to a pre-death playlist, permitted visitors, smells, linens and more. Attending this workshop is making a commitment to go deep, get soft and be honest with yourself about your dying experience and you death. Thank you for your trust.
Lashanna is a massage therapist, a death doula and a community educator in Seattle WA. She is the President of A Sacred Passing: Death Midwifery and Community Education and a member of the Pearl Collective. Her work is informed by a mix of traditional education, lived experience and intuition; and is rooted in community. The work she participates in is focused on increasing access and dismantling the systems of oppression that exist in the worlds of healthcare and deathcare.
