Stephen Winton-Henry is a hospice chaplain. Cynthia Winton-Henry is the cofounder of InterPlay. Together they bring beauty, community, and presence into the biggest dance we do: to Live and Die.
In the first hour of the workshop Stephen and Cynthia explore four key body wisdoms: 1) Death’s role at the sacred center of life, 2) Dying and living is not a solo dance, 3) Dying and living requires a herd of angels, and 4) We have an obligation to die wise.
In the second hour Cynthia curates a time where participants can solemnly and playfully share poetry, music, and dance to honor love, life, and death. The InterPlay approach welcomes movement, voice, storytelling and stillness to help unlock the wisdom of the body in community life.
