Connecting to our grief about centuries of harm, oppression and killing of Black people in America is important. Join us to explore our movement and stories, tapping into the wisdom of our bodies.
Join us in a space for White allies/accomplices to grieve without burdening the BIPOC community.
Connecting with our grief about recent deaths, as well as the centuries of harm, oppression and killing of Black people in America is important. When we touch this pain we touch our humanity.
The tools of InterPlay help us tap into the wisdom of our bodies. We’ll explore movement and story playing deeply with emotions that may seem in opposition: sadness/anger; hope/fear.
When we make space for our humanity we can show up fully for racial justice. We can’t afford to wring our hands or be stifled by guilt or feeling insignificant.
With music and dance, we’ll move into more expansive holding, ease and connection. We’ll create a space to feel our feelings so that we can show up in our fullness to work for the liberation of all.
