An End We Can Hope For

Can we be both hopeful and honest as we face death? Join the Transdisciplinary Design MFA program at Parsons in this interactive workshop exploring new narratives and experiences of terminal illness.

How might we hope for a cure and yet prepare for the end? Can we be honest with our patients, our families and ourselves without "giving up"? How might we, as a community, shape an experience that allows for both hope and honesty in the face of terminal illness? As part of the studio course Design For Living and Dying in the Transdisciplinary Design MFA program at Parsons, we have developed an engaging, interactive workshop to explore this question with the ReImagine community. Together, we will help patients, families, clinicians, and other invested community members to envision new ways for us all to shift the experience and delivery of care in the face of a terminal diagnosis.
