Death Cafe for Social Workers

The Death Cafe is a place to share about life and death, and how our work with people at all stages of life affects us and helps us to live with purpose. During this event, we will have a unique opportunity to take a deep dive into the experiences that have shaped us as human beings and as social workers. We'll also have NYU Silver faculty on hand to discuss the Zelda Foster Studies Program in Palliative and End of Life Care and other programs.

Death Cafe is a global movement to create conversations that increase awareness of death and help us make the most of our finite lives. If you have questions to ask and stories to share, please join us for an unscripted discussion as we move from proximity to death to purpose and legacy in life. We'll supply yummy desserts and drinks!
