Death Over Donuts: A Conversation + Ritual on What Matters Most

Hosted by

Reboot, Lab/Shul, and West End Synagogue (with support from Natan)

What’s the one important conversation most Americans won’t have until it’s too late? Lab/Shul, Reboot & West End Synagogue invite you to join us for the first in a series of conversations about life, death, and donuts.

Death Over Donuts, a bite sized version of the popular Death Over Dinner, is grounded in the belief that talking about death isn't easy, but it can affirm our life choices, clarify our values, and prepare us for the inevitable in our own lives and the ones we care for. Guided by clergy, thought leaders, and artists, we’ll gather for conversations in small circles, concluding with a poetic and musical Havdala ritual marking life’s transitions.

Our first gathering joins 300+ public events across the city as part of Reimagine End of Life; immediately following Death Over Donuts, all are invited to attend the Opening Night event by purchasing tickets at https://letsreimagine.org/586/opening-night-reimagine-nyc

This gathering is designed for everyone and anyone.
