Last Sleeps: Yoga Nidra for End of Life

Join visual artist and meditator Chelsea Rushton for an evening of yoga nidra, also known as yogic sleep, to explore deep relaxation, increased self-awareness, intention-setting, and holding opposites as tools for healing and accepting what is.

Come early for Moving For Life's Gentle Yoga Moves (6:00-7:00 pm) to move energy, heal physical tensions, and greet one another. Studio 55C is a home for Somatic Arts - where we learn to listen to body wisdom. As the body is listened to, it provides information. We can learn tools to relax fear and anxiety and come into greater community through body awareness, movement and dance.

Bring a yoga mat and some blankets or clothes to keep you warm and cozy.

Moving For Life is a citywide movement program offered for free in libraries, hospitals, and community centers as well as by donation at Studio55C.
