As members of LGBT communities, what are we thinking about as we approach end of life? How do we view death and dying, memorialize our loved ones, and prepare for our own passing?

Join us for a Reimagine End of Life event at SAGE—a discussion of what it looks like to consider our own mortality as LGBT people, and how that can open us to new ways of living. A panel of individuals from various disciplines will explore the emotional, spiritual, and practical aspects of life’s end, from locating culturally empathetic care to the importance and intricacies of advance planning. Panelists will include SAGE bereavement counselor and meditation teacher Dojun O’Connor, Green-Wood Cemetery death educator and funeral director Amy Cunningham, and others.
