"The Group" is an immersive, highly participatory theatrical experience that invites you to explore your relationship with death and grief within a fictional support group.
"The Group" is a 3-hour immersive, highly participatory theatrical experience examining the grief process in a support group setting with magical realist elements. This is not a therapeutic group to process current or anticipatory grief, but an artistic exploration of your relationship to death and dying using fictitious relationships. A group of strangers meet every week over the span of one year, accompanied by their deceased loved ones. Those who attend should be prepared to do some improvising within a small group of people who are also improvising.
