The world is out of balance and so are we. One effective way to get your groove back is by tapping into something all humans are hardwired for--RHYTHM. "Rhythm is the Remedy" is a participatory evening of creativity, connection, wisdom and humor. No prior experience with drumming/rhythm is necessary to participate!
Aaron Kierbel, professional musician and "rhythmALLogist," will lead participants in interactive rhythm-making using percussion and/or found sounds from around your house.
Antwan Davis, multi-percussionist and Stomp alumni, will lead body percussion and stepping, a percussive art form with origins in African-American fraternities and sororities.
Mutima Imani, social justice visionary and reverend, will share some words of wisdom and lead heart-centered practice.
