Connect & Reflect: Living and Grieving Through the Pandemic
Connection is harder to come by during the pandemic. The isolation, the stress and the loss is taking its toll on a resilient city. During THE CITY’s MISSING THEM Memorial Event, we wanted to provide a space to speak in smaller, intimate and facilitated conversations about our personal experiences during quarantine, the grief we’re experiencing and what we’re all doing to make it through.
Join THE CITY and Local Voices Network for a conversation prompted by us, but led by you.
Each room will have a facilitator, a mental health specialist and a small group of New Yorkers. The facilitator will guide the group through a series of questions to spark discussion. Feel free to share as much or as little as you'd like. We're hoping that these conversations will provide a place to connect, share resources and learn from each other's experiences with grief and grieving.
If you are interested in learning more about how to have your loved one’s stories included in the MISSING THEM memorial, please email memorial@thecity.nyc.
