The Before I Die New Mexico Festival is an entertaining way to help people prepare for end-of-life, with upbeat events and thought-provoking content at funeral homes, cemeteries, and other places.
The six days of festival events will take place at numerous locations around Albuquerque, including funeral homes and cemeteries, an artist studio, and the headquarters of Passages International. Activities include Death Cafe and Mortality Movie discussions, a Mortuary Mall, behind the scenes tours, games and even a comedy show. Each day has a theme: Money and Mourning, Aging and Mortality, Cremation and Burial, Greening Funerals, Discussing Death Won't Kill You, and Murder and Mayhem.
