Death over Drafts (Zoom)
On Thursday, March 21, from 4:30-5:45 pm PST, please join, Stefanie Elkins, Death over Drafts Founder as well as Family Caregiver Consultant and EOL Doula with Be Present Care along with Lisa Pahl, LCSW, The Death Deck Co-Creator as we are buzzed to be offering quarterly Death over Drafts via Zoom in addition to our physical locations.
Death over Drafts are community gatherings where end-of-life conversations are being "tapped" at breweries across the country and Canada. These events are hosted by Crafters aka Hosts who welcome those who are curious and serve in the end-of-life space to connect, reflect, share and have fun.
Stefanie and Lisa, are excited to be joined, by our Death over Drafts special guest, Melinda Ramos, a Licensed Embalmer, Funeral Director and Crematory Manager. Along with her passion in serving others in the deathcare space, she has also had her share of meaningful deaths in her life: her mother, grandmother and beloved pug, Eli. In a way to cope and honor her pet grief, she created a Mourning Pub Death Care and Pet Loss Illustrations site and facilitates a Pet Griever's Club.

Death over Drafts (Happy Hour) started with a brewing vision to bring people together and create meaningful connections by combining two passions—craft beer and conversations on end of life.
Every Death over Drafts gathering has a different vibe based on who is co-crafting aka hosting. While these gatherings provide an opportunity for those who serve in the end-of-life field to gather and reflect personally and professionally when you join us at a Death over Drafts gathering one thing is constant: all are welcome.
