Let Me IntervYOU! Episode #4
Conversations re accessibility can be hard. Guest Abby Orf shares how she uses storytelling in disability rights advocacy. She is passionate about exploring the potential of design to foster inclusion

Join Abby Orf, a graduate of the University of Missouri Reynolds Journalism Institute, in conversation about her advocacy for disability rights. Abby, who herself has a disability, is passionate about amplifying the voices of those who benefit from accessible design innovations.

Drawing from her journalism background, Abby incorporates storytelling into her advocacy. She has published on accessibility in news media and employment, and was named an Innovation Fellow for the Reynolds Journalism Institute and CivicStory.

Abby’s interest in the intersection of digital technology and accessibility led her to integrate universal design concepts into her current print design work.

Let's explore designing products/environments for universal usability. Enhancing accessibility isn't about dwelling on limitations or underestimating capabilities; it's about implementing strategies for inclusive design that understand the genuine needs of all.
