Let Me IntervYOU! Episode #6
Mourning loss of quiet? Join Guest, Tim Gallati (MDiv, MLIS), interested in quiet experiences in nature + meditation + founded https://quietlinks.com/ with 25,000+ research articles on noise + quiet.

Join Special Guest, Tim Gallati, MDiv., who founded Quiet Links Library, a public online resource of 25,000+ articles on noise and quiet. Tim is passionate about experiences of silence in natural settings and contemplative practices like meditation. His interest in the intersection of technology and spirituality expanded his academic training beyond library and information sciences and prompted him to earn a master’s degree in divinity and to participate in long-term residencies at two Trappist monasteries and extended backpacking trips into One Square Inch of Silence (https://onesquareinch.org/).

Come explore with us concepts of acoustic ecology, a discipline studying the relationship, mediated through sound and silence, between human beings and our environment. Can technology change our experiences in relation to noise in our daily lives? Have you mourned the loss of quiet in each day? Come join us in conversation about how to turn down the volume of noise in your life.
