Before I Die NM Festival: Day 1, October 30
The Before I Die NM Festival excites and educates adults about end-of-life preparation, funeral planning and facing our mortality with outside-the-box activities, both in-person and online.

The 5th annual Before I Die New Mexico Festival will be held in-person and online October 30 to November 2, 2021. It features death-positive conversations and experiences in Albuquerque and online at www.BeforeIDieNM.com. The Festival has entertaining and educational elements, including speakers and panel discussions, hands-on workshops, Death Cafe conversations, and more. View the full schedule here.

October 30 sessions include: "Abraham Lincoln's Impact on Modern Embalming," "Who Will Speak for You? Medical Surrogacy Questions Answered," "How to Make an Altar Honoring Deceased Loved Ones," and "Not Planning to Die with The Kominsky Method."

A donation is requested to register for Festival events. One registration covers all four days of Festival events. In-person events may become virtual due to pandemic conditions.

The Festival is coordinated by pioneering death educator Gail Rubin, Certified Thanatologist and The Doyenne of Death®.
