Day Schildkret is an artist who makes earth altars as a way to explore impermanence. In this video, he is making one with Grace, a Reimagine volunteer and participant, who recently lost her mother to cancer. Grace is now facing cancer herself.
Episode 2: How do you talk to people you love about dying and grief?
Yolanda is an Oakland resident who tragically lost her son, Shaleem, in a police shooting. She opens up about her journey with grief and honoring the memory of her son to local journalist and artist Angelica, who created a performance to share the story of Shaleem’s death.
Episode 4: What would you say if you knew today was your last?
Rabbi Sydney Mintz is a Jewish Rabbi and comedian who helps people through life transitions. Today she is having a conversation about death with Louis, an atheist.
