It's About the Journey: Pediatric Palliative Care Summit
George Mark Children's House will convene the first ever pediatric palliative care summit on the West Coast. The two-day event (10/28-10/29) features national speakers. CMEs / CEUs will be available.

Please note that the Summit is a day-and-a-half event, beginning October 28 and concluding on October 29. For more detail, see the link to register.

The Summit is targeted to a transdisciplinary audience to highlight skills specific for providers who are interested in learning more about pediatric palliative care practice, techniques and teamwork. Specifically, the Summit is designed for health care professionals, including physicians, allied clinicians, nurses, and psychosocial staff working with children and adolescents. A secondary audience includes administrators, funders, policy makers, and others interested in innovative and compassionate approaches to pediatric health care.

There will be presentations and breakout sessions for more in-depth learning opportunities in the areas of communication, symptoms management, self-care, and integrative therapeutic practice.
