This is the follow-up WORKOUT to the live Instagram chat that we are hosting with Alexis Verbin, LCSW, psychotherapist and owner of WELLCORE — a mental health and wellness therapy practice serving Colorado and Massacushetts -- on 5/11.
After learning about the phycological reasons for why we feel shock and denial as a part of grief, we will fully EXPERIENCE these emotions through movement.
Emily Bingham of moveTHRU will lead the 1-hr full-body workout will combine movement (strength training, cardio, barre and yoga) with intention to moveTHRU the feelings of shock & denial as it relates to the loss of a loved one and the loss of "normalcy" we're experiencing from COVID-19. We will own and validate these feelings, experience our emotions as they move through our body, honor our struggle, then reframe it to find understanding and hope. Weights and a yoga mat are recommended, but not necessary. All fitness levels are welcome.
