Extinction Resilience: From Death to Breath
COVID-19. Chokeholds. Fires. Pollution. The year 2020 has brought with it waves of loss from a pandemic, police brutality, and the climate crisis. Collectively--though not evenly--we are impacted by the systems of supremacy and extraction. Join us in ritual and prayer to mourn our losses and honor what and whom we love.
We’ll pause and take a breath.
How do we transform our despair into hope and our rage into compassion? How do we create the world our hearts long for while witnessing systemic collapse and the tragedy and trauma that comes with it?
Extinction Resilience is a regenerative space for honoring and grieving, for our hopes and our struggles, for gathering together in strength and sweetness.
Facilitated by Matt Deen, Janna Diamond, and Rev. Chelsea MacMillan.
In partnership with Extinction Rebellion NYC - Extinction Rebellion is a global nonviolent movement to compel the world’s governments to address the climate and ecological emergency.
