The normal healing process through funeral ritual has been disrupted. Join us for this interfaith panel discussion on deathcare traditions, rituals, and adaptations in the time of Covid-19.

Now funeral professionals and religious leaders must weigh a family's need to mourn and the importance of conducting funeral rituals against both the safety of the community and potential consequences of violating state orders.

“The deceased doesn’t know the difference during this period, but the living do.”

Please join People's Memorial Association and Grief Dialogues as they co-present this panel discussion featuring Seattle-area faith leaders:

Mindi Welton-Mitchell, Senior Pastor, Queen Anne Baptist Church

David Zinner, Founder and Executive Director of Kavod v'Nichum (Honor & Comfort)

Father Kevin Duggan, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church

Rev. Genjo Marinello, Seattle Zen Temple

Khizer Sheriff, Co-Founder of the Muslim Community Resource Center

Dr. Lillian Lockett Robertson, Emmanuel Apostolic Church
