Launching "Stages: On working, dying, and feeling"

Rachel Kauder Nalebuff's "Stages: On dying, working, and feeling" (Thick Press, June 2020), which Elif Batuman calls "revolutionary in form and in content" is a hybrid collection of Rachel's writing and interviews with end of life workers. Thick Press and Rachel struggled to envision a launch that would be safe, yet also offer something resonant to readers.
Rachel has put together a special reading experience that we hope will help us forget that we are on zoom. The reading will be followed by a series of prompts for personal and group reflection.
You'll need a phone, headphones, and something to write with.
Limited capacity, please RSVP. The event is free; if you'd like to order "Stages" before the event, you can do so here.
