A Season of Change: A Life Storytelling Event
What comes to mind when you think of Autumn? Is it apple orchards? Haunted houses? The changing leaves? We all have a story. Share & preserve yours at this special, autumn-themed Life Story Workshop.

Vita Story Club is a New York-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting healthy aging, combating ageism, and reducing social isolation of older adults. We do this through the life story workshops we run, where we guide a group of participants through sharing and preserving their life stories. We've worked with various organizations, such as the Brooklyn Public Library, the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, as well as hundreds of individuals to preserve their own life stories and/or the stories of their loved ones.

We invite you to this special workshop dedicated to sharing and preserving memories related to all things autumn. This is a workshop designed for older adults, but younger caregivers and family/friends are welcome to attend with an older loved one to partake in the experience. We'll help you preserve your stories in a personal audio memoir that you can hold onto or share with your loved ones. And hey, the holidays are right around the corner and this would make a fabulous and truly irreplaceable gift for someone special.

To get a better idea of what your personal audio will look like, please take a look at our sample story page.

This session will be held on Zoom and will be limited to 10 participants, so register as soon as you can!

The workshop itself costs $5 and the workshop plus a professionally curated audio recording of your story costs $10. Your generous donation helps us continue to provide Life Story Workshops just like this one to older adults in assisted living facilities, day centers, and nursing homes in New York City and elsewhere.
