Día de los Muertos is a potent time to come together to honor our losses and celebrate the relationship between life and death. Join Mangda with BACII and Fernanda Uribe in a ceremonial experience where you’ll learn about the symbolic significance of altars, rituals, and ways to commune with the intangible. We’ll do this through storytelling, holistic and creative practices, and communal rituals. You’ll leave with new memories, learnings, and items to take home and embrace your own traditions ahead.

Located in a gorgeous artist-filled industrial building in Greenpoint, Fernandas’ studio overlooks the Manhattan skyline. In this two hour workshop we encourage the participants to bring a photo, object or even food/drink to share to commemorate your beloved as we build our Dia de los Muertos Altar together. A soothing meditation led by Mangda will open our activities for the night as we explore the meaning of letting go and celebrating life.
Booking is essential.
Class will be held at 67 West St. Suite 613, 6th floor- Brooklyn, NY 11222
