Creative Becoming is a care-based creative experience for queer people seeking healing, connection, and expression. Over the course of a year, we’ll gather virtually to move, make, and imagine together. Rooted in a posthuman ethic of care, this offering blends somatic practice, storytelling, and theatre-based creation. We’ll read fiction and theory, co-create rituals and performances, and explore what it means to live beyond binaries. Readings include Atlas of the Heart by Brené Brown, selections from Judith Blackstone, and fiction by authors like Octavia Butler and Sandra Cisneros. No theatre experience required—just a willingness to show up, be curious, and co-create.
