Cheers! Join this interactive & informal community to spark compassion, curiosity, & connection. Special guest: Coach Chela, family caregiver turned dementia & cannabis advocate shares her journey.

Death over Drafts Happy Hour initial gathering was part of Reimagine SF 2019. Stefanie Elkins, Be Present Care along with Jill Schock, Death Doula LA, welcomed others who shared their passions-beer tasting & engaging conversations on death & dying. Monthly Happy Hours continued at different greater Los Angeles breweries until COVID-19 where it then switched to Zoom*

Chela and her husband Dave, family caregivers turned advocates, were so inspired by her mother’s journey, they launched the “Cannabis Helps Dementia” podcast, and started AlzNotes.com Crash Course for Caregivers. She also will also reflect on her mother's peaceful death experience in a skilled nursing facility.
