Part inspirational, part educational, the Dying To Know Film Festival is a single-theme showcase designed to help jump-start one of life’s most challenging conversations: mortality.
Schedule line-up includes over a dozen award-winning independent and feature films, documentaries, shorts, animation and concludes with a phenomenal storytelling performance with Moth Story Slam winners. Opening weekend co-hosted by America’s most popular gerontology professor, Mario Garrett, Ph.D., prolific author, speaker, and founder of San Diego’s Coming of Age Film Festival. Other guests include filmmakers, hospice founders, death doulas, a next-gen funeral director, professor of EOL communications, MAID advocate, and a green burial entrepreneur.
