How can we prepare for death and discuss it more freely? Join filmmakers Zeshawn and Aman Ali for a screening of the film TWO GODS, followed by a conversation with death care practitioner, Ash Canty.

Meanings and conceptions of death differ widely across culture but one thing many humans share regardless of culture is a reluctance to discuss death. The subject can be taboo and conversations are often uncomfortable and even downright painful. Yet if death is certain and as some say, helps inform the meaning of life, how can we make room to prepare for it and discuss it more freely?

Join filmmakers Zeshawn and Aman Ali for a screening of their film TWO GODS, a story of community, faith, and healing through the eyes of a Muslim casket maker and his mentees. The screening is followed by a conversation with death care practitioner, Ash Canty of Sovereign Spirit Deathcare.
