The S.S. Storytelling Series: Mother's Day
Hosted by The S.S. Storytelling Series, In honor of Susan Schnitzler
We are a storytelling collaborative that strives to create a conversation around grief and its many dimensions. Our mission is to offer a space and place for those affected by mother loss to share their stories in an effort to help one another feel seen and met in their journey, wherever it is that may be.
Join seven storytellers as they share their tales on the topic of "Connection"—namely, how we discover, create, and unearth ways of meeting our moms in their absence.

This event is in honor of Susan Schnitzler
Proceeds from this event benefit a fund my family and I recently established in honor of my mom, whom we lost to lymphoma in 1997. The Susan Schnitzler Healthcare and Happy Faces Fund raises money for dental and healthcare needs for those living with developmental and intellectual disabilities (inspired by my brother and her son Daniel, who has autism, and by her lifelong service to the well-being of others in her role as a nurse). Please visit www.doorsopendishes.org to learn more about the fund and Doors Open Dishes.
