Write of Your Life: Gender & Sexuality in Spiritual Wills

Hosted by Ari Simon

Write of Your Life: Gender & Sexuality in Spiritual Wills
In this Spiritual Will-writing workshop, we'll uplift our gender and sexual identities to connect with the story of our lives and leave behind our truths – no matter what stage of life you're at.

Join Ari Simon for a Spiritual Will-writing workshop on gender and sexual identity, happening Monday, June 7 4-6pm PDT.

Together, we'll explore the practice of writing a nonmaterial will as a way to preserve the story of our lives and decide how we want it shared when we're no longer living. We will center our genders and sexual identities in this process, as a way to more wholly connect with our unique selves and more fully consider how we want to be memorialized and remembered.

The workshop will offer a short context-setting introduction, ample time for writing, and opportunities for small group sharing. Prompts will be designed to be inclusive of people at all ages and stages of life. People of all genders and sexual identities are welcome; and we will center LGBTQIA+ perspectives and queer theory as a doorway to connect with our unique experiences of self.

This is a time to reconnect with yourself, revisit your past, and discover what you want to leave behind.
