Decorate a Vessel to Honor Death: Prepare, Reflect, Remember

Decorate a Vessel to Honor Death: Prepare, Reflect, Remember
An opportunity to reflect creatively on death, commemorate a loved one, and/or create a treasured memento

A Hands-On Artmaking Experience for our Current Times

Participants will decorate their own container as a symbolic coffin or vessel to represent death contemplation, honor a loss, memorialize a loved one and/or serve as a “death hope chest” to store keepsakes, planning documents or related items within.

A three-stage creative journey

  • Launch: Reflection, inspiration and preparation for your project
  • Work: Optional shared creative time for vessel decoration at home
  • Share: Bring your vessel, see others’ inspired creations, and share insights & challenges

We will have separate Reimagine events for each session. Sign Up for each session you're interested in.

Launch sessions: Wednesday Oct 20 at 12pm and/or Thursday Oct 21 at 7pm

Work sessions: Monday Nov 1 at 12pm and/or Tuesday Nov 9 at 7pm

Share sessions: Wednesday Nov 17 at 12pm and/or Thursday Nov 18 at 7pm

All sessions are on Zoom for one hour.
