Sexual assault is a pervasive and deeply traumatic experience that impacts survivors and their loved ones. At Reimagine, we believe in the power of healing, growth, and community support. In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we have compiled a comprehensive list of resources for survivors and their advocates. This guide aims to empower individuals affected by sexual assault and provide valuable information to facilitate healing and growth.

Resources for Survivors

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network)

RAINN is the largest anti-sexual violence organization in the US. They operate the National Sexual Assault Hotline (1-800-656-HOPE) and offer an online chat support service. RAINN provides resources and support for survivors, as well as information on how to help others.


National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC)

NSVRC provides information, resources, and tools to help prevent and respond to sexual violence. The organization conducts research and shares best practices to help survivors and their communities.



This nonprofit organization supports male-identified survivors of sexual abuse and assault. They offer resources, information, and an online support group to help men navigate the healing process.


Resources for Advocates and Loved Ones

Futures Without Violence

Futures Without Violence works to end violence against women and children around the world. They offer resources, programs, and policy advocacy for survivors, their loved ones, and communities.


The Joyful Heart Foundation

Founded by actress Mariska Hargitay, the Joyful Heart Foundation is dedicated to transforming society's response to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse. They offer resources and support for survivors and their advocates.


Love is Respect

Love is Respect provides resources and support for young people to prevent and end abusive relationships. They offer a 24/7 hotline (1-866-331-9474) and live chat support, as well as information for friends and family members who want to help.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline

This hotline offers support, resources, and advice for those experiencing domestic violence or sexual assault. Hotline: 1-800-799-SAFE (7233).


Safe Horizon

Safe Horizon is a victim assistance organization that provides support, advocacy, and resources for individuals impacted by crime and abuse.


The National Center for Victims of Crime

This organization advocates for victims' rights and offers resources and support for survivors of various crimes, including sexual assault.
