As a result of that devastating loss, somewhere my young soul began to ask, "Is there anything in life that cannot be taken? Is there something death-less?" About four or five years later, I discovered meditation and yoga, and began passionately studying the great wisdom traditions of the world. I have been a student ever since.
Because grief comes from the deepest parts of who we are, it is a doorway to deep healing and transformation. In my work as a grief counselor, I use mindfulness, somatic inquiry, and compassionate dialogue to help people shift their relationship to grief from a problem to be solved, to a transformational opportunity to be lived. I have an M.A. in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology and am a Certified Grief Counselor.
