Watch a recap of Reimagine's 2024 signature event: Why Wait? Living Fully in the Face of Life’s Biggest Challenges

Last year, in partnership with Daybreaker, Reimagine hosted the first-ever intergenerational dance experience inside City Hall...but it wasn't enough. This year, the San Francisco gave us the entire city block!

On Sunday morning, November 3rd, in partnership with KindSF, let's take over the streets in front of City Hall and show the world that age is but a number. Our goal is to get down with our neighbors, honor the people and planet we love, and create a positive symbol that breaks down ageist taboos. Let's defy the generation gap...and dance.

9:30 am: YOGA or CLEAN STREETS // DIRTY BEATS (By KindSF)

Our co-host KindSF will warm you up with a totally unique experience: Silent Disco Yoga followed by their signature experience: Clean Streets // Dirty Beats--a Silent Disco Trash Pickup! Have fun, make a difference, and get down to an epic DJ? Sign me up. Limited spots available

10:30 am: INTERGENERATIONAL DANCE PARTY

Grab your mom, kid, friend, grandpa, or neighbor. Then snag an outfit from your favorite decade, and head to the center of the city!
There will be hits from each decade, so come dressed to rep your favorite era!

12:00 pm: COMMUNITY CEREMONY + STREET FAIR

One for the Ages marks the end of Reimagine festival 2019. This is the culmination of 200+ events across the Bay Area over 10 days, each exploring death and celebrating life through creativity and conversation. As such, we conclude with a unique ceremony to honor the parts of life that matter most to us--our loved ones, our friends, our communities, and our planet. Together, we will make the largest interconnected origami chain of memories the world has ever seen!

THROUGHOUT THE DAY

100% of proceeds for this donation-based event will go to Reimagine. This organization is sparking conversations to transform our approach to aging, dying, grieving...and living. Your support powers crucial community work.

Let's bring San Francisco together to be a true home for all community members — no matter what our age is. It's gonna be everything.
