As a member of the American Alliance of Museums, we are committed to publicly exhibiting art throughout the Hebrew Home at Riverdale's 32-acre campus. As a member of the American Alliance of Museums, we are committed to publicly exhibiting art throughout the Hebrew Home at Riverdale's 32-acre campus. Derfner Judaica Museum + The Art Collection has over 4,500 paintings, prints, photographs, works on paper, sculpture, decorative objects and Jewish ceremonial objects, a rotating exhibition space and a sculpture garden overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades. The Museum + Art Collection provides educational and cultural programming for residents of the Hebrew Home, their families and the general public from throughout New York City, its surrounding suburbs and visitors from elsewhere. A model of universal accessibility, our unique setting allows us to provide meaningful museum experiences to older adults and persons with special needs, while appealing to a diverse audience of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
