Close to 20 years ago, we launched Life's Door to meet the critical need of offering models for frank and meaningful dialogue around illness and end of life. As an Oncologist (Ben) and an OT and Family Therapist (Dvora) , we witnessed the existential pain and confusion of people with illness, thier families and among the professionals who cared for them. Life's Door's mission is to transform the journey of illness and end of life from one of anguish into a pathway for hope, meaning and connection. Our platforms have changed the lives of tens of thousands of people around the globe. We believe in the power of individual values and honest communication as guiding forces in living life fully in times of health and , especially in times of illness and when facing end of life.
