I am here to reimagine...

I am here because I want to support individuals who are experiencing Grief/Trauma. I am a supportive, compassionate, kind, and empathetic/sympathetic young adult. I am finishing my Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education.

I lost my dad to Covid Related causes at the young age of 20, two years ago. My Dad's death was sudden and a traumatic experience for my family and I. This was the first heart-shattering loss that I have experienced in my life so far. I was lost for the first year after his passing. I was struggling to cope with the emotions of him no longer being present in my life, all while trying to keep moving towards earning my Undergraduate Degree. I can now say that after two years of support from family/friends, personal reflection/learning experiences, and participating in grief support (Even a group connected to Reimagine), I have learned better-coping mechanisms, learned/taken up more resources/support, learned how strong/resilient I am. I want to help support others experiencing/moving through grief, provide compassion, comfort and support.
