"Being Mortal" Film & Discussion, with Patrick Arbore, EdD
Patrick Arbore, EdD, will screen the film, "Being Mortal," then will lead the audience in communication exercises which may be implemented towards effective end-of-life discussions.

Institute on Aging (IOA) will screen the PBS Frontline film on terminal illness & final choices, based on the bestselling book by Dr. Atul Gawande.

The screening will be followed by an interactive presentation with Dr. Patrick Arbore (EdD), who will engage the audience in communication exercises which may be implemented towards effective end-of-life discussions.

Facilitator: Jefferson-Award Winner, Patrick Arbore, EdD, Founder of The Friendship Line and Director of the Center for Elderly Suicide Prevention and Grief Related Services (CESP)--both programs at IOA. Dr. Arbore conducts workshops and presents lectures, locally and nationally, on aging-related subjects. He is also the author of numerous articles and book chapters on suicide prevention, bereavement, and suffering.
