HeartBeats--A Virtual Concert & Fundraiser
HopeWest is a non-profit organization in western Colorado, with a mission to profoundly change the experience of aging, illness and grief—one family at a time through creativity, volunteerism and philanthropy.
When the pandemic arrived and HopeWest made the decision to cancel its major fundraiser gala, the staff put their heads together to come up with a virtual fundraiser event. Heartbeats—A Virtual Concert and Fundraiser—is a pre-recorded event that features a variety of musicians who have contributed their time, talent and performances. Interviewed by David Starr, Americana musical artist, HopeWest staff and volunteers talk about the hospice, palliative care and grief support services provided to the community. Visit https://www.hopewestco.org/about-us/ to learn more about HopeWest. In addition to the musicians, staff and volunteers, the support of generous underwriters make Heartbeats possible.
