Join us as Mariana guides us through the Mexican tradition of creating altars, connecting to our ancestors, and why we keep their memory alive. Altars and similar rituals are found across the globe in many different cultures, so there is more than 1 way to honor these practices. Mariana will explain everything you need to know about altars and what can be placed on them in order to connect to our loved ones who are no longer with us.

Then we will walk through one method of connecting to our ancestors, which can also be an appropriate offering for an altar. We will share our template on how to write a letter to your loved ones, which is a powerful practice for anybody, whether they use an altar or not.

Finally we will wrap up with a short guided meditation and a closing discussion for anybody interested in furthering this conversation.
