Open Mic: Gratitude for the Past, Present, and Future

We’ll tell stories that connect to gratitude and its relationship to death and loss. The lineup will be determined in real time, and you’ll have several minutes to share, with time for reflection.
This Open Mic event will be a community wide exploration of death and a celebration of life through the creative art of oral storytelling. Drawing from personal experience, participants will listen to and tell stories of gratitude—for the past, present, and future. The lineup will be determined by drawing names out of a virtual hat, storytellers will be given 4-5 minutes to share, and we’ll have time for reflection. This program will be hosted by award-winning story teller, Robin Bady, whose repertoire encompasses world tales, current events, oral histories, literature, and personal stories.
