SPIRIT BOAT MAKING & EXPLORING

An art making workshop for anyone who wants to express their ideas and creativity using a Sprit Boat as a departure point. People of all ages and abilities have enjoyed building a little totem boat, imbued with personal values. The feeling of accomplishment in this process Is long lasting. Many people have made Spirit Boats and in the process have found a new voice in themselves that was longing to be expressed.

Spirit Boats help us navigate the unknown with protection and greater ease. The creation of a little totem boat gives one access to powerful inner knowing and builds intuition. The symbol of a Spirit Boat, a metaphysical vessel for transformation, is universally known and used for healing, releasing grief and honoring someone.

The materials used can be found in most households to create the boat. The assembly is simple and fun. This project ignites imagination and possibilities for using what else is at hand in inventive ways.
