Meet the speakers:
Soraya Alcalá is co-founder of Westchester Art Conservation. She’s worked as a conservator at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, Opera della Primaziale in Italy, National Museum of Art of Catalunya in Spain, and The Victoria and Albert Museum in London, England. She teaches professional conservators advanced cleaning systems for works of art and instructs private collectors how to care for, handle, and transport precious materials, including sculptures, paintings, and other cultural artifacts.
Allison Gilbert is one of the most thought-provoking and influential writers on grief and resilience. She is the author of numerous books including, Passed and Present: Keeping Memories of Loved Ones Alive.
