Mortality: Life and Death During a Pandemic
Covid-19 is a stark reminder of the fragility of life.
This event provides a space for us to communicate with each other about death and dying, grief and loss, and social and racial inequities, open our hearts to grief as well as joy, and encourage each other to seek hope and take action.
It is also a fundraiser for The Lily House, a community home for living and dying. We're part of a national grassroots movement to improve the end-of-life experience for individuals and families in local communities. We are currently looking for property on the Outer Cape. All proceeds will go toward the acquisition of property and for current operating costs. Please help the Lily Bird find a home!
